Advertising Disclosure

Some of the casinos and payment platforms we cover pay us an affiliate commission when a reader signs up through our links. This FTC-style disclosure explains how affiliate revenue, sponsored content, and editorial independence are reconciled in our casino reviews and ranking methodology — and how readers in Hong Kong and beyond can flag a concern.

Key takeaways · disclosure summary

  • You pay nothing extra

Commissions come out of the operator's marketing budget, not your deposit.

  • Commission ≠ ranking

Ranking criteria are locked before outreach. Authors don't see commission rates.

  • Partners + non-partners

Several #1 picks are operators we have no affiliate relationship with.

  • Concerns? Two-day reply

Email corrections@xyes.com — every report reviewed within two business days.

Affiliate relationships

When we link to a casino, sportsbook, or crypto on-ramp, that link may be tagged with a tracking identifier. If a reader follows the link and opens an account, the operator pays us a one-time signup bounty or a revenue share on the operator's net gaming revenue from that account. Readers pay nothing extra for this: the commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget, not the reader's deposit.

  • Current commercial partners. XYES is the blog's primary commercial partner. Articles that mention XYES may carry an affiliate link. Articles that recommend a non-XYES operator only link out when we have independently reviewed that operator against the same methodology we apply to XYES.
  • Operators we decline. We have declined affiliate offers from operators whose policies conflict with our player-protection criteria (e.g. no responsible-gambling tools, hostile withdrawal terms, or known unresolved complaints). Declining an operator does not mean we will never cover them editorially — we still write about them — but we do not carry their affiliate link.
  • Sponsored placements are labelled. If an operator pays for a fixed editorial slot rather than a per-signup commission, the article is labelled "Sponsored" at the top and excluded from ranking articles. We have not run sponsored placements in the last four quarters.

Commission does not affect ranking

The most common reader concern about affiliate sites is "did the highest bidder get the #1 spot?" Here's how we prevent that:

  • Ranking criteria are fixed before outreach. Each comparison or review article publishes its methodology (usually withdrawal time, KYC behaviour, responsible-gambling tooling, license transparency, and player-complaint history). Criteria are weighted in the article and do not include commission rate.
  • Commission data is withheld from the author. The editor writing a comparison article does not have visibility into which operator pays the most per signup. That data lives with the commercial contact on a separate team.
  • Operators we rank #1 include non-partners. Several of our guides rank platforms we do not have an affiliate relationship with above platforms we do. We would rather lose the commission than mis-rank a safer operator below a worse one.
  • Negative coverage remains on-record. If a platform we have an affiliate relationship with is later implicated in a player-fund incident, we do not pull the coverage. We update the article, flag the change in the revision history on the article page, and drop the affiliate link until the operator resolves the matter.

Relationship with XYES and Good.Casino

Two names appear repeatedly on this blog and readers occasionally ask how they connect to us.

XYES (commercial partner)

XYES is the crypto casino platform that hosts this blog and is our primary commercial partner. Articles that recommend XYES over competitors are written by editors who are not employed by the operator and who are compensated on a fixed salary, not on signups generated.

Good.Casino (partner publication)

Good.Casino is an allied casino-review publication. Some of our safety articles are peer-reviewed by their editorial team and we cite their audit data. Good.Casino is a separate organisation: they are not our publisher, we do not pay them for coverage, and they do not set our editorial calendar.

How each article discloses

  • Article-level disclosure bar. Every article that carries an affiliate link shows a disclosure strip in the page footer identifying the publisher, the partner status (affiliate / peer-review / neither), and linking back here.
  • In-line link tagging. Affiliate links render with rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines and ad-filters can treat them correctly. Editorial links to non-partner references use rel="noopener" only.
  • Data-source attribution. When an article cites withdrawal-time data, payout proof, or fund-custody claims, the source is either our own editorial testing (logged against a run date and sample size) or a named external reviewer. Third-party data is captioned with the source.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions readers raise most often. The same Q&A is exposed in this page's FAQ schema so search engines can show them inline.

  • Do affiliate commissions affect casino rankings on this blog?

No. Ranking criteria are fixed before outreach, commission data is withheld from authors, and we rank non-partners above partners when they score higher on our methodology. Several #1 picks across our guides are operators we have no affiliate relationship with.

  • What is the relationship between this blog and XYES Casino?

XYES is our primary commercial partner and hosts this blog. Articles that mention XYES may carry an affiliate link, but the editors writing them are on a fixed salary — they are not paid per signup, and they do not see commission rates when they write.

  • Will I pay extra if I sign up through your affiliate link?

No. The commission is paid by the operator out of their marketing budget, not deducted from your deposit, bonus, or winnings. Following our link costs you nothing and does not change the terms you sign up under.

  • How do I report a ranking I think was paid for?

Email corrections@xyes.com with the article URL and the specific claim you are querying. We review every report within two business days and publish material corrections on the article itself with a dated revision note.

  • Are sponsored articles labelled?

Yes. Any article paid for as a fixed editorial slot (rather than a per-signup commission) carries a "Sponsored" label at the top and is excluded from ranking and comparison guides. We have not run any sponsored placement in the last four quarters.
