Free European Roulette Simulator | Virtual Chips Practice
Free European roulette with virtual chips — red/black, odd/even, straight-up, 2.7% edge. $500K player guarantee · zero risk before live play.
Four things to know about this simulator
Free play with zero financial risk
Practice chip selection, placing bets, and reading results without real money. Repeat outside bets like red/black and odd/even, then try straight-up (35:1) once you understand variance.
European wheel — 2.7% house edge
This simulator uses a European wheel (37 pockets, single zero). House edge is about 2.7% — lower than American roulette (38 pockets with 00, 5.26% edge). Prefer European or French wheels at real-money tables when you can.

How to Play
Roulette Basics
Pick chips and bet areas
Use virtual chips (10 / 50 / 100). Start with outside bets — red, black, odd, even, 1–18, 19–36 (FAQ may say low/high) at 1:1. Try straight-up (35:1) only when you accept the 2.7% hit rate per number.
Spin and read the result
After placing bets, press Spin (same label as the main spin button). The ball lands on a number; wins pay out and losses deduct from your stack. On zero (green), most outside bets lose — that is the source of the house edge.
Review history and odds
Each result is logged in history. Every spin is independent — five reds in a row does not make black “due”. Use session stats to understand variance, not patterns.
Rules
Roulette Rules at a Glance
Outside bets (even money) — 1:1
Red / black, odd / even, 1–18, 19–36 (FAQ may say low/high). Win pays 1× stake; zero makes all outside bets lose. Effective win rate about 48.65%; house edge 2.7%.
Dozens & columns — 2:1
1ST 12, 2ND 12, 3RD 12, or COL 1 / COL 2 / COL 3. Win pays 2×. Win rate about 32.43%; zero still hurts.
Straight-up — 35:1
Single number (0–36). Win pays 35× stake but probability is only 2.7%. Higher payout does not mean easier long-term profit — edge stays 2.7%.

On a European wheel, every standard bet carries the same 2.7% house edge — variance differs, not long-term expectation. The grouped table uses the same labels as the layout (1ST 12, COL 1, 1–18, etc.).

Betting rhythm
Common betting systems: variance only, not edge
Key point: Every standard European bet keeps a 2.7% house edge — flat betting, Martingale, James Bond, and others only change your bankroll curve and bust risk, not expected value.
Section 7 of the roulette guide compares seven systems (progression rules, variance, bust risk, changes EV?) with worked examples. Run 20–50 demo spins below with virtual chips and watch your balance before choosing a live-table rhythm.

European vs American roulette — which should I choose?Rules
European wheels have 37 pockets (one zero) — about 2.7% house edge. American wheels add 00 (38 pockets) — about 5.26% edge. This simulator is European so you practice the better baseline.

What are the odds for red/black, odd/even, and 1–18 / 19–36?Math
These outside bets pay 1:1. With a single zero, effective win rate is about 48.65% (not 50%), and long-term house edge is 2.7%.
Match labels on the layout to the grouped odds table on this page.
What happens when zero (green) hits?Math
Zero is green and not red/black, odd/even, or 1–18 / 19–36. Most outside, dozen, and column bets lose; only a straight-up on 0 pays 35:1. That is the source of the 2.7% edge.
Try a spin in the simulator, then check the odds table.
Is there a winning roulette system? Does Martingale work?Reality
No standard bet on a European wheel changes the long-term 2.7% house edge. Martingale only changes variance and table-limit risk — it does not beat the math.
Worked examples and pacing: guide — betting systems. Test systems here with virtual chips only.
What are French call bets (e.g. Voisins du Zéro)?Advanced
Call bets bundle several standard wagers (e.g. neighbors of zero). Payouts are calculated per sub-bet, not as one single odds line. This simulator includes zero, voisins, tiers, and orphan shortcuts.
